On-line conference: Pathways to digital economy in Bosnia and Herzegovina

On-line conference: Digital Transformation for Sustainable Economy

5 October 2020

The digital transformation conference, the opening event of the SDG Business Week 2020, will aim to present the European Digital Strategy (Single Digital Market), as well as specific examples of government policies/mechanisms supporting the transition towards a digital economy, while discussing the role of different actors focusing on the private sector and their experiences in the process. The Conference as the platform will aim to open a discussion and demonstrate paths for integration of expertise in digitalisation processes including data analytics, APIs, machine learning and other technologies that offer companies valuable ways to improve their competitiveness. It will tackle new technologies that redefine products and services, blurring industry boundaries and creating entirely new sets of non-traditional competitors as well as cultural/organizational transformation. It will provide insight for mapping of relevant diaspora capacities, expertise and experiences and mapping of relevant initiatives (including partnership building with chambers of commerce, ministries, projects, etc).

List of confirmed speakers include representatives of EU DG Connect, Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth, Chamber of Commerce and Trade of Great Duchy of Luxembourg, Center for Digital Transformation of the Chamber of Trade of Serbia, Tetra Pak and many more. See the full agenda HERE.

The event is organized in partnership with the Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina and in cooperation with UNDP Accelerator Lab, D4D and EU4Business.

TYPE OF THE EVENT: ON-LINE
