The United Nations Development Program in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in cooperation with the Inter-Technology Park, organized in Mostar a workshop on Capacity Development for the Integration of Sustainable Development Goals into Business Strategies.

Participants learned about the importance and business opportunities that come with implementing Sustainable Development Goals, as well as using self-evaluation tools for SDG integration on business models.

The workshop was organized as part of the project Supporting Preparation for the Implementation of SDGs Roll-out and Private Sector Engagement funded by the Government of Sweden.

The focus of the workshop was on the willingness of companies to engage in inclusive and sustainable business. The tools that are promoted help companies in their overarching business journey and help them thrive. The training should help the companies improve their business models, support within their firm and increase their profits.

In addition, participants were presented with the SDG Business Pioneers Award 2020, which promotes private sector activities in the field of sustainable development in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
