With contracts signed between UNDP BiH and the service provider Deloitte d.o.o. Sarajevo the application period for UNDP in BiH exclusive innovation program – SDG Accelerator for SMEs in now open.

The aim of the SDG Accelerator for SMEs is to accelerate small and medium sized BiH companies’ innovation and growth by developing new products, service and business models in alignment with the SDGs. It has been calculated that the global challenges we are currently facing have an enormous economic potential (amounting to around 12 trillion USD) in the private sector, whose contribution to the solution is a prerequisite. More concretely, the company will go through a facilitated innovation programme supported by the UNDP and external experts, with the objective of taking good ideas and turning them into good business. The most successful companies will be exposed to potential investors and partners who can further support the business plans that are based on SDGs.
